2024 STATE BASEBALL ON-LINE CREDENTIAL REGISTRATION

Registration process will be handled by the Iowa High School Athletic Association

Internet companies will be allowed credentials. 

IHSSN Rules and regulations for all media are listed on the IHSSN website www.ihssn.com under Media Resources at the bottom of the home page. It is the credential holder’s responsibility to read the IHSSN Rules & Regulations.

Accepting the credential indicates the credential holder has read the IHSSN Rules and Regulations and will comply with them accordingly. 

Once registration is completed. Companies will have the capability to download two (2) credentials for their use. It is the company’s responsibility to distribute the credentials to their personnel. 

Separate credentials are required for entrance into each stadium. Credentials must be on the person and must be displayed at all times. Duplicates will not be made available. 

For Merchants Park, Carroll, Iowa , check in is at the Southwest gate, on the first base side of the stadium.

For Memorial Stadium, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, check in will be at the suite entrance, on the southwest side of the stadium.

At each site, the IHSAA will provide a credential / wrist band for the game you are covering.

Credentials will allow access to radio row, field access when allowed and the interview areas as designated by the IHSAA. 

Radio seating placement will be on a first come first serve basis.

INTERNET COMPANY CREDENTIAL REGISTRATION

Internet companies will be allowed to provide an audio only broadcast. The company applying for a credential must have covered the school they are registering for on a regular basis during the regular season and must adhere to the following:

• Rights fees will be the same as radio stations. $190 per game, per school for football semifinals and finals, $190 total for wrestling duals and individual tournaments, $190 per game, per school for basketball quarterfinals, semifinals and finals and $190 per game, per school for baseball quarterfinals, semifinals and finals. 

• Please follow the same registration as radio stations (see above). Where it asks for call letters, enter the word "internet" and your company website url. Two (2) credentials will be provided for the $190 registration fee. Print out the passes and bring them with you to gain admission to radio row.

• Internet companies must follow the same rules and regulations as radio stations (see above). The stream link can only be placed on your website. You cannot syndicate or link to a radio station. Listeners must come to your site.

RIGHT FEES

Fee Payments will not be accepted on-site. Credentials will not be issued on site. 

State Baseball………………………………………………$190 total per game, per school (2 credentials).

New credentials are required for each game and must be placed in the credential jacket.

Credentials provided are for the sole purpose of providing venue access to an Iowa High School Athletic Association State Championship Event for an accredited media individual as referenced in the rules and regulations of the Iowa High School Sports Network.

Credentials are non-transferrable. Any unauthorized use of these credentials subjects the Holder to have the credential revoked and ejection from the facility.

The IHSSN and IHSAA reserve the right to revoke the use of this credential without notice at any time and for any reason.
