The Bank Iowa Traveling Challenge Cup recognizes Iowa high school students for academic excellence in the classroom and outstanding achievement during state competitions. Winning schools in each of the state's four classifications receive the Traveling Challenge Cup for permanent display in their school as well as a $1,500 monetary award to be used for academic enhancement.

New for 2009-2010!

This year the Bank Iowa Traveling Challenge Cup has expanded to recognize the efforts of students who participate in music, speech and debate, in addition to recognizing student athletes. View new 2009-2010 rules and how points are awarded for Music, Speech and Debate.

Also, we are happy to announce that the monetary award for the 2009-2010 school year has increased to $1,500 - $1,000 provided by Bank Iowa and an additional $500 courtesy of the Iowa High School Sports Network (IHSSN).
